The main and innovative objective of IAHM is the creation of a worldwide virtual hospital, namely the creation of a network of highly specialised hospital departments that offer virtual beds to patients from developing countries.

This network would establish links and working relationships with other organisations that provide humanitarian assistance, which operate in the world and particularly in developing countries.

This will enable notification to the competent authorities of any complex medical and surgical cases involving patients in need of specialist assistance, which cannot be resolved in their respective countries, and allow for approval of subsequent transfers to hospitals with sections for humanitarian medicine.
